Cooking time: 0 min
Ingredients
- 1 Blender
- 250 g of Almonds
- 1 litre of water
- 1 drizzle of organic honey
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 1 clean tea towel
Steps
- Soak the almonds in water overnight
- Drain, then rinse them and place them in the blender
- Add 1 litre of water, and mix at a high speed for 2 minutes
- Add honey and cinnamon
- Filter the liquid through a clean towel
- Press hard with your hands to extract the maximum amount of juice
- Put it into the fridge, it can be kept for 4 to 5 days. If it separates into 2, simply stir it again.
Tips:
You can use the pulp as almond powder to make cakes. Homemade almond “milk” is a good alternative to cow’s milk. It is lactose-free, unctuous, a source of vegetable protein and has a faint taste of almonds.
