Salmon Tartare

For 4 people

  • 600g of fresh, skinless raw salmon
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
  • ½ shallot
  • 1 tbsp traditional Dijon mustard
  • Chives
  • Basil
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime
  • Salt pepper

Steps :

  1. Slice the salmon in thin slices, then into small pieces, (but not in the blender!!!)
  2. Put the salmon in a bowl, add the olive oil, soy sauce, mustard, lime juice, and the salt and pepper
  3. Finely chop the shallots
  4. Chop up 5 sprigs of chives and 10 basil leaves
  5. Add to the salmon and mix. Put in a fridge for several hours
  6. When serving, place a cookie cutter on the plate, place the tartare in it and press it with the back of a spoon.
  7. Take it out of the mould and serve immediately!


Salmon tartare can be served as an aperitif on toast or as a starter. It’s a simple and quick recipe that makes everyone happy
