Ingredients :
- 250g of foie gras
- 2 big onions
- 10 g butter
- 1 tbsp. of sugar
- 2 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- Salt, pepper
- 1 baguette
Steps :
- Peel and slice the onions, taking care to separate the rings.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter and add the onions and sugar. Stir, cover and cook for 25 minutes over a low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Add the balsamic vinegar and let it simmer for 20 minutes without covering. Add salt and pepper. Let it cool and then it put in a fridge.
- On a small slice of bread, arrange a little onion confit and place over a piece of foie gras.
