Ingredients
- 8 slices of sandwich bread
- 4 slices of smoked salmon
- 4 slices Parisian ham
- 4 slices of Gruyere cheese
- 1 Fresh figs
- 1 Organic lemon
- Parsley
- Toothpicks
- 1 star shaped cookie cutter
Steps :
- Using a cookie cutter, cut out stars in the slices of bread, the ham and the gruyere cheese.
- Grill the bread in the oven.
- Wash and cut the lemon and fresh figs into small pieces.
- Assemble the toasts by piercing a toothpick through the star cut from the bread, the ham (or salmon), the gruyere, and then again, another star of bread, to make a sandwich. Repeat the process, alternating the ham and salmon until all the ingredients are used.
- Decorate the toasts with fresh parsley and small pieces of figs and lemon.
- Keep cool until serving.
