Ingredients :
- 250 g of Chestnut flour
- 1 tbsp of four-spice (or a mixture of gingerbread spices)
- 125g of powdered sugar
- 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 125g butter
- 1 egg
Steps :
- Sift the flour. Mix it with the four spices, powdered sugar, vanilla sugar and salt. Add the butter in small chunks and kneed it with your fingertips until you obtain a fine powder
- Stir in the egg into the mix until you have a smooth paste. Roll it into a ball and wrap it in cling film.
- Store in the fridge for 45 minutes
- Preheat your oven to 160 ° C
- Spread out the dough and then using a biscuit cutter cut out the shortbread
- Place the cookies on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Cook for 12-15 minutes. Let it cool and enjoy!!!
Tips:
After having cut the shortbread with the biscuit cutters, puncture a small hole on the top of the biscuit. Once cooked, you can put a string through them and hang them up on the tree
