Stuffed Potatoes

  • 6 large potatoes
  • 100 g diced smoked bacon
  • 100 g grated cheese
  • 100 ml light cream 15%
  • Salt pepper


  1. Boil the potatoes for about 25 minutes in water. They must remain firm. Drain and let them cool.
  2. Cook the bacon in a frying pan.
  3. Hollow the potatoes into the shapes of boats. Cut out the flesh of the potato and place into a large bowl and mash with melted butter, cream, grated cheese and the cooked bacon. Add salt and pepper.
  4. Put on the oven grill.
  5. Fill the the potato boats with the mashed potato mix and place under the hot grill until the mash has turned into a golden brown.


These potatoes are gluten-free so suitable for people suffering from celiac disease and gluten intolerance.
