A sworn enemy of beautiful legs, as soon as the good weather arrives, cellulite becomes our pet peeve. No matter our shape, age, weight, size, or whether you are sporty or not, cellulite is encrusted in each of us, – unfortunately no one is safe! But don’t worry, whether you suffer from aqueous or fatty cellulite, Atlas Cedar is here to cure all your problems!
THE SHAPE OF CELLULITE
First and foremost, cellulite is nothing more than a mass of inflamed cells. Suffice to break down the word to understand it; “Cellul” stands for cells and the suffix “ite” refers to inflammation, as in appendicitis, otitis, etc.
So it’s inflamed by what? In the case of aqueous cellulite, by water, and in the case of fatty cellulite, by cellulite. To fight cellulitis, there is no other solution than to eliminate it by draining, draining and even more draining!
Atlas cedar essential oil combines all of these necessary actions, dissolving fats, breaking up the cells, and draining the excess waste that accumulates under the skin.
The active molecules are a class of terpenes called sesquiterpenones and sesquiterpenes.
Sesquiterpenones are known for their corrective actions on blood circulation and for their lypolytique properties (fat hunters). Sesquiterpenes also act on cellulitis, being excellent anti-infiltrants and anti-inflammatories. The combination of all these properties makes Atlas Cedar an essential oil for fighting cellulite.
HOME-MADE ANTICELLULITE CREAM:
To say goodbye to cellulite, melt 20 grams of Shea Butter in a bain-marie, and add:
- 30 drops of Lemon essential oil
- 30 drops of Atlas cedar essential oil
- 30 drops of Criste Marine essential oil
- 30 drops of Lemongrass essential oil
Each mornings and evening, apply a little of the mixture on the areas to be treated by massaging and letting the mixture penetrate well. Repeat the process for a period of 3 weeks, then take a break of one week before resuming for another 3 weeks. If you pamper your skin firmly and rigorously, the results will be deep and visible.
As miraculous as they are, you shouldn’t forget that essential oils are extremely powerful agents and are subject to some very strict rules of use! You should never apply pure essential oil on the skin where you might burn! It’s also important to always dilute it in a little vegetable oil, such as olive oil or avocado oil. Many of them are not recommended for pregnant women or women who are breastfeeding. Always ask your doctor for advice.
